  • Election forms are available on the County Clerk’s webpage under elections. Click on Elections 2020 and it will take you to the Secretary of State’s webpage where forms are available.

  • Campaign Finance filings must be notarized prior to being mailed to: County Clerk’s Office, 811 Port St., St. Joseph, MI 49085 or placed in the drop box at the above address (located on the north side of the building).

Proposal 3 was a constitutional amendment that passed in November 2018. This amendment made changes to election law, Chief among them are:

  • Providing voters the option to vote a straight-party ballot.

  • Allowing citizens to register to vote by mail until 15 days before an election and up to 8:00 pm Election Day at their local clerk’s office with proof of residency.

  • Allows for all registered voters to vote absentee without needing to provide a reason
