St. Joseph – The Berrien County Board of Commissioners, through resolution F1202059 established a Trust Investment Advisory Committee to be composed of individuals who have the technical knowledge and experience to advise the Berrien County Finance Committee on the performance of investments, consultants, and managers in order to maximize the growth of the Berrien County Employee Retirement Plan and the Berrien County Retiree Health Care Trust. 

The Trust Investment Advisory Committee shall be comprised of 4-6 individuals that will meet regularly with the Finance Committee.  It is designed to provide a degree of continuity to the process of pension investment decision making.  The committee is advisory in nature only, and nothing in the establishment of the committee is intended to delegate the authority of the Finance Committee or any other person or group.
