Do you want to help protect our environment?

The County Recycling Programs occur all over Berrien County and benefit thousands of people a year.  Volunteers are needed to help carry out these recycling programs.  Opportunities include in-office work, teaching children, helping at outdoor recycling collections, and more.  Visit our Recycling page for current Recycling Program volunteer opportunities.

Do you have a background in law enforcement?

Our Sheriff's Office relies on a trained volunteer staff to assist with various operations:

  • Reserve Deputies
  • Mounted Division
  • Chaplain's Unit
  • Victim Services Advocates

Applications may be picked up at the Records Bureau at 919 Port Street in St. Joseph during business hours.  For more information, visit the Sheriff's Office website.

Can't volunteer, but you'd like to assist with a donation?  Please visit our Donation page for ideas on where you can make a difference!
