• Local Police Departments: most departments will accept unwanted cell phones and chargers. The phones are checked, repaired, and given new batteries, as necessary. Only cellular phones, not cordless phones designed for use with a base, can be accepted. Please cancel services before donating. The donated cell phones will be made available to citizens at risk of stalking or domestic violence and to the elderly to use in case of an emergency. All cell phones can dial and connect with 911 emergency services even when they are inactive.
