Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)

Under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) are required to be established by the County for the purpose of planning for Hazardous Materials Incidents.  The LEPC is operated by appointed members of the Berrien County Board of Commissioners.  The Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division serves as the LEPCs Point of Contact for Operations.
