Jim Curran serves the residents of Berrien County's 11th District.

Commissioner Curran is a retired Michigan State Police Detective Sergeant assigned to fire investigations. In addition, he is retired from his privately owned and operated fire and explosion investigation firm. Jim is recognized as an expert in origin and cause of fire or explosive incidents. He is active in many service organizations in the Niles Area. He formally served on the Brandywine School Board where he had held various offices including president.
He and his wife Diana have been married for over 35 years, have three children and two grandchildren.
